Despite folks trying to sell the AF lounge, the DL Skyclub is much closer to the gates, its a brand new space and unless you want edible cheese to the extent that is possible in the US, minimal difference with the AF lounge F&B options and it has competent bartenders.
Honestly speaking, I am not sure I would do the two hikes to get to the AF lounge. I am usually not even doing the shorter walk from T4 to the Qantas first class lounge when flying AA.
Though I have once taken the T6 to T4 walk back and forth for the Flagship Lounge instead of the Alaska lounge. But at least that's champagne vs not champagne, and not champagne vs better champagne.
Does AF have champagne? That would increase the odds of taking the walk....
