Your name as in my own name as the one making the reservation indeed always shows up on the reservation when you make it (online or otherwise) ..

The specific of this particular situation is that when you want to "gift" a reservation to -OTHER- people (not you ) per the Marriott rules the names of these -OTHER- people need be on the reservation ... and -THAT- "additing -OTHER- people's name" cannor be done online ...
