Either way, thanks for the tip. I'll check again to see if LAX to HKG is avail. However, I think the agent checked it.
Another thought, I don't think the lounges on the outbound will matter since they may be closed. I arrive in SFO at 10:20pm and my flight to HKG is at 12:05AM.
Anyone with experience on the Raffles Class (Business) space bed seats? Can you really sleep in these?

I'll redeem myself with another comment - to your lounge question - SQ's lounge should be open in SFO even late at night, as its timings of operation will be tied to their key departures...eg. the HKG flight.
Re. seats - just on a purely seat comfort perspective, UA C gets more ^ than SQ C seats in my readings on FT. I also give it a definite ^ .
Service/amenities obviously SQ shines. A real key is...does the passenger intend to sleep or watch films on the flight?
