I'm new to this thread. I got the PM status for this year, and I have a few questions.
I am planning to travel to HND from LAX this year. When I bought a ticket (Main), I got a free upgrade to C+. I wanted to upgrade to Premium Select. When I tried to do so, the price for this upgrade showed $575/leg, $1150/round-trip, which is the same price difference between Main and PS. When I checked the price difference between C+ and PS, it was $500/round-trip.
My questions are
1. Is a free upgraded C+ ticket different from a "regular" C+ ticket?
2. Do I need to pay $575/leg to upgrade my seat to PS? Meaning, the free upgrade to C+ does not benefit me to upgrade the seat to PM?
