Avios transfers between airlines do not reset the expiration. I’m going to assume OP has transferable CC points which does push forward the 36 months in BAEC hence why I suggest you transfer the AY Adios there. I don’t see any downsides as of now.
So there is track record for each Avios point? If I transfer certain Avios point from inactive AY account to BA and then back after 18 months, it expires immediately? Or even worse, all, even recently earned Avios via BA, transferred to inActive AY account would expire at the point when there has not been any other activity for 18 monts?
