I booked both flights using my AA miles.

I have 4 hours and 15 minutes connection.

In case the incoming BA is delayed and I miss the connection, as I read everything here, AA will rebook me on that second leg, correct? I am understanding this correctly?

Apologies if I am being redundant. I’ve never had unconnected tickets like this, and it makes me slightly uneasy.

You should be fine, but I would have a back up plan if AA do not rebook you.

EDIT: with hand baggage your chances are better, the transfer should be doable 90 minutes if no incoming flight delays and no SNAFUs at LHR.
RUH is a T5 flight, I've never seen the terminals change last minute at LHR - they stay the same day to day per destination. You may find it quicker to take the terminal transfer bus vs going landside to use the train (since you don't have any checked bags). If you get to T3 and the security line is bad, you can walk backwards and go landside there.
Note that since BA thinks your final destination is LHR, you'll likely be required to have an ETA (if not exempt) (there aren't data points on getting around it with onward travel plans yet since the ETA requirement isn't yet enforced)
