Experienced the following today whilst adding families APIs. Accessed the booking on BA.com from ‘Upcoming flights’ once logged in.
- Previously I had selected my seat across the aisle from the 3 family members (to try to use theoretical seating to my advantage to have an empty seat adjacent in a 3-3-3 cabin). MMB had swapped my wife and I for some reason.
- Trying to swap seats back is quite tricky, I moved myself into the free middle seat to allow me to put my wife back into the aisle. At which point it offered no further changes, so we were all over the place! Unpicked with mobile app instead.
- Selected a vegetarian meal for wife, however the current message is ‘due to technical issues you can’t select a meal’ except the dropdown still allows a veggie meal to be chosen. Not really sure that post-Covid BA catering policy counts as a technical issue.
- All changes then helpfully emailed to my 13yo son rather than my usual email 🤷♂️
