HND-LHR February 2025

Here are the photos of my return flight from Tokyo HND-LHR, earlier this February. As mentioned above in the thread, no breakfast or brunch but a lunch then followed by a light meal before landing. I skipped the starters this time hence why it's not shown in the photos below. I must say the service was very bad on this flight, the worst I got on BA First in a while. A shame as it's a long sector. I was also shocked by how little they proactively offer snacks - it felt really long between the meals. They reacted about 3 to 4 hours before landing after passengers complaints - but for hours on end nothing at all. Catering was also quite poor. Lunch was salmon with udon (the fish was very dry), followed by a chocolate and coffee fondant sprinkled with crumbs of what felt like... dog food. For the light meal, I took the chicken teriyaki with rice and then the opera cake as dessert (that was the unique choice). This pre-landing light meal was actually better than the lunch. Drink service was equally bad, the Rare champagne was served only in the last four hours of the flight - they kept insisting on serving the sub par Heidsieck beforehand, even when confronted to ask for the Millesime. They even managed to burn (and I mean burn heavily) the nuts - inedible.
