Ordered the normal Hindu meal - however sadly for unknown reason they just placed some stickers onto the already vegetarian curry pumpkin dish and called it HNML. Was expecting some meat. My travel companion wanted the chicken salad but on 2 loaded on this 9 row CE flight.
Total failure in my opinion on catering. FA was good but not sure if its because there a few GCH or GGL.no preference asked.

Short-haul standard for meals is straight front to back, with no status ranking. Definitely a reason for grabbing the front rows. Even then, BA parsimony can fail us customers - 2 chicken meals for a possible 36!
Once, when we had been seat-shifted from row 1 to 7, Mrs T played an allergy card on my behalf with the crew and the one choice on the menu that I could eat was put aside. Much appreciated on a 4.30hr flight. (The allergy was to coriander, not a normal issue on European short-haul menus).
