For Star Alliance PR is against BR,NH,CA,SQ North America AC/UA over the Pacific Ocean.
CA is effectively out of the running at present (that could change quickly if they are permitted to restore more tpac flights, though). SQ offers some through fares, but isn't usually price competitive. You forgot about OZ, which is still in *A, and often undercuts PR.

QF isn't relevant to your specific line of questioning.
AA/JL should be regarded as a single entity in all markets covered by their JV.
