Personally I think AF/CDG get a bad rap and are pretty solid and I believe everything is 1-2-1 these days.
VS depends on plane
AF still has 2-2-2 A330s (which occasionally appear on India routes). KL, given its stronger India business (being in some sense the national airline of the UK ex-LON) is more likely to fly 777/787 there (which are all 1-2-1 now).
