Given the nature of the business, if you are willing to spend $12K for $2K worth of product......you would earn 300K RDM and 100K EQM and be a newly minted MVPG100K member.
Effectively, you would be buying EQM at 12 cents each & RDM at 4 cents per mile. Not too attractive.
It works great if you need $12k of gift and flowers
A significant portion of my AA PE status Loyalty Points was earned from hotel stays and shopping that I needed to do anyway. Some small percentage from Harry and David, but I certainly didn’t buy anything from them that I wouldn’t have anyway.
