You’re going to be profoundly disappointed flying United. Given your focus on aggressive monetization, I’d suggest a ULCC like Spirit or Frontier. The service won’t be any better — if anything, it’ll be worse — but the prices will generally be lower, and they are extremely up-front about what you’re paying for and what you’re getting for it.
