Can I pick up bags and drop off at PAL counter without leaving transit area? If not possible, how easy and time consuming is to get through customs, drop bags at PAL counter and and get through security again, and still make it to my flight. Thanks
I don’t recall there being a transit desk, so you’ll most likely need to 1. Be admissible into Taiwan 2. Clear immigration and customs 3. Go to the departures level to check in for your second flight and check your bag 4. Clear security and exit immigration
Your connection time will be somewhat tight to pull this off, but doable. Just make sure you’re admissible into Taiwan, they won’t let you in just to recheck a bag if you otherwise need a visa.
