SWU expiration date: 3/31/25

3/30/25 – Apply soon-to-expire SWU with confirmed C space for travel in February 2026. Ticket expiration date will be 3/30/2026.

June 2025 – Hypothetically, I find confirmable C space for travel in April 2026 and I want to change to that. I understand that, in principle, the SWU could be carried over to the new travel dates since the PNR wouldn't change, but April 2026 would be after the ticket expiration date of 3/30/2026. I'm looking for a way around this limitation.

Put simply, as I understand it, SWU can be only be used a maximum of 330 days beyond their expiration date, assuming availability can be found and confirmed for the latest possible travel date after the SWU expiration date. Is there a way to extend even further?
