I needed to book two Delta seperate tickets for a flight to Korea. My Delta domestic flight arrives at LAX at 6pm and I need to depart from TBIT on a Delta Marketed Korean Airlines presitge airlines(Business class per Flight agency) flight at 1040 pm to ICN. I will only have carry-on luggage. The reason I booked two flights, is so I could stay under budget for the business class flight. My questions are noted below:
1. Will I be allowed to check into my International flight 24 hours prior, or will I need to wait until my flight is completed at 6pm at the LAX airport before checking into my International flight?

Ask at DL checkin to tag bags through. You won't need leave secure area at LAX if done. If can't do OLCI for KE, simply show up to gate one hour prior. (Dependent on how agent goes about tagging bag through, you might end up with the BP upon checkin with DL)
On way back KE will also tag through. Doing this means can drop on recheck belt outside customs. Otherwise goto the Delta One checkin (can use as arriving in KE Business) to checkin bag. Note it is located on the arrival level, just walk outside TBIT, turn left and youll be there in a minute or two. You can also use it for security even if drop bag on recheck belt.
