Yes, it's quite misleading in that respect, and as noted elsewhere it does give the very plausible impression to be working. But I'm pretty sure if you ring up BA and asked about this, a clued up agent will say it isn't working. The new Salesforce system reigns supreme and that Partner Claim seems to be a casualty. You aren't the first to be caught by this and won't be the last, and yes they certainly should disable the screen.
