I would log out and log back in and try again I could see the flight I wanted but had the same problem. Each time I tried it, there appeared to be less and less options available. The flights were (I) First Class both directions. I don't believe the system would show flights at all, if they didn't actually fit the terms and conditions of the ticket and there were always more Main Cabin and C+ options than first class. I tried several different flight combinations to and from different airports and even though I found flights I had the same problem when I tried to book them.
I wrote down the flights that I was most interested in and called into the Amex Companion Certificate helpdesk and the agent pulled up the exact same flights while I was on the phone and was able to book them. Is this an ongoing issue? Something new? I have never had this problem previously. It is difficult trying to find dates available to use the passes for first class seats, I just don't understand why they have to throw out more curveballs to make it harder.
that’s been my experience most of the time. Have to call in to get it booked as the website gives an error most of the time
