Just so you know, this Aloft is the largest Aloft in the world, with almost 800 rooms. It is a recent renovation and re-flag of a combo of hotels: a Ramada and a Days Inn. The West Wing is the old Ramada, and the East Wing is the Days Inn. Naturally, you can't change the dimensions of the rooms without a huge cost, and so that's some of the background behind the upgrade: on average, the former Days Inn rooms are a tiny bit smaller and economically oriented than the former Ramada rooms."
