Ba43 lhr - cpt
Upgrade from CW to First courtesy of MMB notification a week before departure, which seemed a no-brainer for £579 pp. The weakest link in the otherwise excellent experience was the C gate boarding, which was chaotic and slow, and not helped by Male boarding at the adjacent gate. Menu same as in post #106. Cabin crew were attentive throughout and the food (beef carpaccio, twice cooked souffle, mushroom pasta and halibut) was perfectly cooked and well presented. Seats were comfortable, with more surface area for sleeping than in the Club Suite, but were already showing their age. The Rare champagne was excellent, too.
