Hubby and I each have united explorer cards. We’re planning on using our points to book 4 round trip tickets for us and our kids. I’d like to book all on the same reservation so that if the flights get changed they get changed together.

Here’s the issue: I’d like to maximize the benefits from the cards, primarily the free checked bag for one person and a companion. That way each of us gets a free checked bag. Is there any way we can book the flights on one reservation using each card, like by splitting the transaction? Or is there another way to accomplish this?
