Note I don't not have any UK ETA. I had no issue entering UK when my plans changed. I was originally in transit so had no need. Plus as I'm getting new passport next month, made no sense to apply for one connected to soon to be invalidated passport.

No issue at immigration. Not even a question why i was entering when originally was just in transit.
