That's because I am looking specifically at the VS Clubhouse JFK page on access, not the ST page (go right to the horse's mouth, right? Please see below so you know I'm not making it up as you say. Why would I do that?

This page does not use the word Caribbean anywhere on it. It simply says international.

If the answer is that the Virgin Clubhouse webpage inaccurately shows or fails to properly asterisk their own access policy, I would fully accept that. Info online is wrong all the time.

But clearly that is why I came to ask people that might have personal experience. And clearly I didn't make anything up.

Thanks for the reply.

There's no exception for access to Skyteam lounges for First Class travel between US and the Caribbean for STE+ passengers. DL Sky Clubs still provide access to DL STE+ with international DL First Class cabin tickets, but here again, flights between US and the Caribbean are excluded.

SkyTeam Elite Plus

  1. 1. Complimentary lounge access at Delta Sky Clubs is no longer extended to Delta SkyMiles Elite Plus equivalent members (SkyMiles Diamond, Platinum, and Gold Medallion) when flying in Main Cabin or Delta Comfort+ internationally. Effective January 1, 2024, Delta SkyMiles members traveling in Basic Economy or equivalent partner cabins will not have access to Delta Sky Clubs; SkyTeam Elite Plus members of other SkyTeam member frequent flyer programs are not impacted. Delta SkyTeam Elite Plus members flying on a Delta or other SkyTeam operated flight can continue to access other SkyTeam member airline owned lounges and SkyTeam branded lounges. Third party lounges are excluded.
  2. International Travel excludes customers traveling between the US and the Caribbean.
