Just called the Globalist line and got a really great representative who applied a suite upgrade to my existing reservations without much hassle and no transfer to any luxury department. Hopefully the upgrade comes through because although I see it as applied, the room still has my originally booked room in the reservation. Could have just done it myself online but didn't want to pay the extra rates that sometimes happen when Hyatt site decides to nuke corporate codes when apply the SUA.
