saw both Etihad and Saudia jets at MAD the other day, and realized that Abu Dhabi (AUH) - Riyadh (RUH) also fits this paradigm

another Middle Eastern city pair would be Amman (AMM) - Dammam (DMM) on Royal Jordanian
