Latest example of how utterly terrible the new system is. Needed to book a one-way flight on a specific day. Only economy Avios seat available, whereas VS were offering PE for 115,000. Stupid expensive, but justifiable in the circumstances. So went to Amex and sent the miles over. Once they arrived a few hours later, went to book - flight now 145,000 miles . I dont have more miles to transfer, so am stuck with booking Economy, and have all these miles orphaned in Virgin, which I am highly unlikely to ever be able to use. SO ANNOYING!!
