Well, if you want to do 25 roundtrips from Gimpo to Jeju, and have the time for that, it seems that you could spend a lot less for *G status (looks like you have 24 months to do the flights, then re-qualification is only 30 flights). I think that the suggestion to simply buy a United Club membership would be the most cost-effective way to get *A Lounge access.
