Keep in mind that immigration and customs at TBIT do not open until 6:00 am. With GE and without checked bags, I generally make it from plane to curb at TBIT in 10-15 minutes. TSA security checkpoints at LAX are fairly busy between 6:00 am and 7:00 am.
