Has anyone had any experience with this (it reportedly went into effect on January 8, 2025). I downloaded the UK ETA app onto my Iphone, filled out the form on my phone and finally got a "selfie" to be accepted by their system (took me 8 tries) and paid the GBP10 ($12.97) filing fee. Although the UK home office site counseled that it would take 3 business days to get a response, they granted my application in 15 minutes. They sent me an email confirming this with a 16 digit reference number. I then went into Delta Fly Ready but could not find a place to load this number into my information already inputted there.

I plan to print out the e-mail and have it with me when I check in at CLE next month in case someone claims I have not applied for the ETA (the UK home office claims that the ETA is linked to my passport, but who actually knows whether this is true until you try to travel to the UK).
