I have decided to burn some Avios stash and a couple of Amex vouchers and booked two CW return trips to KUL (all this in anticipation of potential devaluation and while quietly hoping that they would not resume
the flights and would be rebooked on MH or QR… or anyone else for the experience). Will not be able to keep status with the new requirements and trying to maximise my flight experience while it lasts.

My first trip is in April and would be interested to get some predictions of people with knowledge on how likely is BA to extend the suspension of the flights.

I will use KUL purely as a base and slightly nervous making other flight bookings (already taken the risk and booked a flight to Hanoi the same evening when I suppose to arrive in KUL).

When do you think it’s realistic to know for sure if the flight suspension would be over? My outbound flight is pretty empty at the moment.
