I have been able to maintain Gold for a decade just through my normal leisure travel, without having to resort to TP runs or BAH offers. That is no longer possible, and I have no intention of spending money unnecessarily just to maintain status, so the threshold for me would have to be what I currently spend on Oneworld flights in a year, which is around £8,000.
