No doubt there were thousands upon thousands of BA regulars who found the structure of the old BAEC programme (book any flight and know instantly how many TP’s it will earn) far too complicated ; whereas the new streamlined system - along with these latest ‘tweaks’ - is clearly designed to remove any such complexity or confusion. It will surely be welcomed by the vast majority of travellers who are typically unlikely to follow nuanced discussions across airline forums and blogs.

I suppose some BAC members might harbour concerns as to just how smoothly the old programme will transition to the new, so there is great reassurance and comfort to be had from the knowledge that the leading-edge IT systems used by BA (not to mention its highly-rated app and website) are amongst the very best in the business.
