Ahh thanks, that makes perfect sense. Indeed the options on HEL-NGO MMB match the "before landing" options on the HEL-HKG menu:

Presumably most people would be skipping the first meal after takeoff given it would likely be close to 2am, so it makes sense that they're offering menu choices for the pre-landing (afternoon tea time?) meal, and for quiche and crepe to be acceptable options..
