Sure, but that results in nearly a 8 hour arrival delay based upon my quick check of an upcoming Sunday schedule. UA doesn’t exactly have a ton of service to Edmonton.

I agree with your path — walk outside on the arrivals level, then reenter security at T7 — but I’d probably be canceling my UA flight and buying something from AC or WS.
