We've had the same, but although departure is later, arrival is the same time.
Shame, we would have liked to cancel.
Interestingly in a few weeks we are flying BA ticket Christchurch - Sydney - Singapore on a non-flexible Club fare. Qantas changed the flight number of the Christchurch - Sydney leg, (but not the timings) and we were given the option to cancel.
