What is your critera for best?
SYD is not the only aiport in Australia. Many seem to think Australia=Sydney.
FJ fly to all AU eastern airports. Consider an open jaw ticket. More airports than QF.
NZ<--->AU east coast is about $300 - $450 one way economy. Can be wide variations in prices. Serveral airlines, NZ, QF, JQ, VA, EK, CI, LA, MU depending on airports and dates.
Air NZ are know for *not* releasing awards to ff partners.
If flying economy meals are very basic with all airlines. Reheated ready meals, like for sale in supermarket freezers-chillers
