P is only in the international flight earning charts. JAL domestic flights booked from outside of Japan, or AA a JAL Explorer pass basically works on the website as international bookings, ie if you want to manage your booking on the JAL website, you have to use the international flights section.

How that actually works when it posts to AA i dont know, if it gets translated to A, or it earns based on the international table.
