Stay 6 nights over CNY, cash rate. Upgraded to Harbour View room, with great vantage point of the fireworks. As an above poster mentioned, lounge breakfast is pretty much equal to that of the restaurant one. The dim sum choices at breakfast rotate daily, which was great. Didn't partake in the evening lounge offerings. Hotel common areas and room were super clean and well maintained. Shower pressure excellent. Bed was fantastic, great sleep all week. Location is stellar, with Admiralty MTR right below the hotel, through indoor walkways. Never much of a wait for taxi/uber at night. All staff super polite and friendly.

Popped over to the St. Regis, which is not as centrally located (the Wan Chai MTR is a little bit of a walk to get to/from). Tried the Michelin starred Rùn, and it was disappointing.

The RC has changed a little since my last visit. And I still wouldn't really choose to stay there unless I had to be on that side of HK. Popped by for cocktails, and the service was dismal.

In the past, have also stayed at W - but it's showing its age now.

Would in a heartbeat, chose the JW again.
