There was an agent behind he counter. He stood there, did not greet me, and when I asked him for assistance he told me to start with the kiosk. After checking my bag via kiosk (again, at the Polaris counter), I asked for paper boarding passes because I was UA for 2 legs then transferring to Gol for the final leg. This dude actually told me just to use the digital pass! I insisted on a paper pass, because I know how it goes when trying to transit in GRU.

Pretty shocking behavior and/or SOP from an agent, in my opinion. Some international routings require paper passes - no idea why he felt he needed to give me a tough time about it. I've *never* been told to use a kiosk at a 1K/Polaris desk, so either this was a poorly trained employee, or perhaps they *really* don't want to have humans helping us.
