OpenVPN works with Capital One, Google wallet and OpenVPN

Hi, Maybe this will help somebody:I've tried Surfshark and Norton VPN; they didn't work.Motivated by the above post, I located a free OpenVPN VPN resource here (Can't post links here yet):

freeopenvpn dot org

(Note the username and password on the page above; they are changing regularly.)
Also, do not click any green buttons that say "download it here" or "your file is ready"—these are shady ads, downloading some zip files with who knows what. Click only the underlined config file links specifying the server location or IP address, for example:

USA_73.159.65.90

These downloand OpenVPN configuration text files, you can read them in android file viewer.

Then, I downloaded the OpenVPN Android client from the Play Store. From the link above, I initially downloaded the free US server configuration file and imported it to OpenVPN Client as a connection profile using the "Import profile" menu option located under the hamburger menu.

The OpenVPN client connected without a problem, but the Capital One app did not work; I received the fretted "We've hit a snag" error again. Just to be sure, I checked my IP with:

whatismyipaddress dot com

But it turned out to be one located in Moldova! (Can't trust many of those free configuration files.) Next, I found a link there to some premium and private VPN servers (free) from one of the subpages for the US servers (Sorry, I can't post links, but you should find it there.) Look for something like this on one of the subpages for the US servers locations:

Download:
USA_67.183.60.80_tcp.ovpn
USA_67.183.60.80_udp.ovpn
USA_73.11.163.245_tcp.ovpn
USA_73.159.65.90_tcp.ovpn

Download one of the configuration files. I've used the last one; it turned out to be in Massachusetts.

This worked for my Capital One card! I finally succeeded in adding it to Google Wallet. Just to be sure, after disconnecting from this OpenVPN server, I changed my login and password, in case those VPN servers are spying on passwords. Therefore, use it at your own risk.
