SEA N lounge agent denied access for SFO-SEA-DOH award ticketed on AA in E and U codes respectively. Agent says this is an upgrade ticket and so not eligible for lounge access. Is this real? The AS/AA/OW booking codes mismatch nonsense is getting annoying. Their tablet is showing U is an upgrade which I think is a Alaska thing and not AA. The boarding pass literally shows J on QR. So I don't understand why they are doing this booking code nonsense. No problem accessing Alaska lounge in SFO.
