That substitution could well roll out through the whole summer season as they load the final schedules month by month

I had same thing happening, 3 flights came up with around 15 - 20 min schedule change plus one A350 to B787 substitution for an OSL routing in May.
These sorts of changes are pretty normal about a month or two before the new summer or winter IATA seasons start, once the airlines have a clearer view of slots, fleet availability, new routes etc.
