Hey, i had two questions on OCR. I understand that it's for involuntary re-routing but not clear on what this covers. For example my flight was cancelled BA put we on the same route the following day. I couldn't wait a day to return home so asked for other routing options and was put on a non OW airline the same day, arriving home at the originally scheduled time. Would this still qualify as I asked them to change the originally offered re routing?

Two if you are re routed onto a non OW airline can you claim through their airmiles/tier points scheme if they have one?
