I was searching last night for specific dates 4-5 months from now and it showed up for a several set of flights. Searched same exact criteria again 15 minutes later and no special pricing despite same set of flights (earlier showing discount) still available.
Searched same exact criteria again a couple of hours later and it shows up again. And then it's gone again after a period of time.
When it does show, it shows up whether I'm searching on app or website. When it doesn't show, it doesn't on either.

I have been seeing this for about six months now. It looks like my searches are tracked so now if I see a Mileage award I like I book it. Great bargains. Also, know I can cancel and get the miles and taxes back. I had thought using different browsers would work but that did not make a difference either. If you like the mileage award book it when you see it.
