If you want to maximise your evening time, then London / Paddington makes sense, there is now the Elizabeth Line that adds quite a few more options both in London and going out westwards.

If you need s a Hilton option, there are 2 SLH properties new to the scene, Great Fosters, which has the most amazing garden and outdoor pool, which I've reviewed in the Hilton forum; and the Mitre at Hampton Court, which I've not yet visited. Hilton Syon Park is also interesting / different, and has a number of non tourist pub options within 10-15 minutes. Notably in Brentford the Magpie and Crown, and the Coach and Horses in Isleworth.
