Trying to decide between the President Wilson and the Ritz Hotel de la Paix for a 4-night leisure stay. We value an upscale experience and some of the "dated" comments about the PW make me nervous. Rate differential for our nights is 500 CHF at the PW vs 700 CHF at the Ritz.

I apologize in advance as my only stay there goes back about 13 years so talk about "dated"... I just wanted to say that we had a really excellent stay there and based on the memories, I would not hesitate to go back. The only thing I remember being mildly annoyed about was the elite continental breakfast which was pretty lame at the time and we ended up paying to upgrade to the full breakfast.
I remember the rooms being nice and we spent plenty of time around the (outdoor) pool. The vibe was very upscale.
Hopefully, you will get more up-to-date comments...
