Although it's basically impossible for a lounge to have more choice than the main restaurant as you highlighted, some lounges provide a better experience overall by offering additional a la carte menu options, better quality of ingredients and further menu items not available in the main restaurant. Lounges should also have the time and staffing to offer a better level of service, as well as a more peaceful environment over the (often) chaotic mess at the main restaurant.

That said, I don't think Conrad Seoul has ever been known for the quality of their lounge offering, so they will have a lot of work to do if they want to live up to their goal. Looking forward to the feedback on how they did.
