But as this thread covers in detail, the priority bag issue has been varied among airports for years. Some airports are better than others, some airports are better most of the time but not always and occasionally a poor airport surprises.

But I think they are super consistent now and simply ignore the priority bag tags. I've flown dozens of trips around the world and my priority bags are never in the first 50% of bags sent to the carousel. Never. And when you look at what does come down the belt first, it is a non-priority tag 75% of the time. When you hit those odds and are flying 1-2x/week, domestically and internationally, it's clear they no longer have a priority bag tag program. If anything, it's a lottery where some may magically get their bag out before others purely by luck and not by intent.
