Is this JL's proactive solution to their aging population? Will they one day have a multinational crew on each flight, just like CX was in their glory days (pre-handover)?
Flown 4 segments on NH in the past 3 months, and 3 of them were longhaul. Did not notice any foreign crew. Does NH have foreign crew as much as JL?
ANA used to have a London crew base same as JAL, but I have not flown ANA to London in more than 10 years, so I don't know the status of it. I have not noticed foreign base crew members on ANA on other routes, but I don't fly ANA as much as I do JAL, so I may just not notice or not have had them serve my section.
