I don’t think they are insulting, but I still doubt they’re enough to move behaviour materially. Quite possibly the first of several such attempts to get the stalled BAC engine running again. I see zero need to make any discretionary BA bookings yet.

The most interesting piece here to me is the massive extension of the booking period which seems to change the whole purpose of the bonus from soften the blow / try to pull forward bookings to ‘err, I think these thresholds with no modification may be too high’.
